Al parecer, desde el lanzamiento de iOS 4, los iPhones han estado registrando nuestra localizaciones permanentemente y lo peor es que esta información queda registrada en un archivo desencriptado al que cualquier persona puede acceder.
Este problemita de privacidad fue descubierto por dos investigadores de seguridad, Alasdair Allan y Pete Warden, quienes trabajaban en la división de software de Apple hace algunos años (aunque no parece haber relación entre el antiguo trabajo y el iPhone). Para acceder a la información, hay que hacerlo desde nuestro iPhone, iPad o una computadora con la cual the device is synchronized. An important detail is that the locations are triangulated and not obtained by GPS, therefore, even if you turn off the GPS, you can still be found.
